1. The RiskLimiter sensor is placed outside your cooler, freezer, or other temperature controlled device. A lead reaches inside the device to get accurate readings on the temperature of your device and products.
2. Leads end in a small tube inside the freezer, cooler, etc. There is a substance in the small tube that simulates the product inside the cooler. This technology allows for a more advanced temperature control system that accurately monitors temperature without damaging your products. 
3. Once placed on your cooler, the sensor will monitor temperatures at an interval of your choosing. By allowing you to have control over the monitoring process, you can feel confident that your products are safe and protected.
4. The data gathered from our sensor is first sent wirelessly to the RiskLimiter Ethernet gateway, and then transmitted to the RiskLimiter cloud immediately. This advanced technology allows for more accurate cold storage temperature monitoring for your business. 
5.  If temperatures fall outside the predetermined range, designated personnel will receive a notification so action can be taken. You can receive these notifications via text, email, or through our RiskLimiter Manager’s Application.
